The thought of sorting wedding invitations seemed very daunting until I came across Lucy (Trix Creative). We had a consultation call, where Lucy really took the time to know myself and my husband-to-be, she got to know what kind of wedding we were having, what our vision was for invitations etc. and then began the design process. Lucy kept us up to speed the entire way, showing us different designs we could pick from, gave us ideas on how we can really tie in our colour scheme / venue and even our dog! Lucy made the whole process a dream for us, she’s super organised and meticulous, she even drove out to us to bring samples and run through everything. We got married in December last year at Old Gore Barn in the Cotswolds, who kindly recommened Lucy to us for our wedding stationary. We took one look of her Instagram and knew right away that we wanted Lucy to do our stationary! Everything was so chic and elegant and we knew that would work perfectly for our wedding. Following our first call with Lucy, we also discovered that she is the MOST lovely person and we felt that we were in very safe hands and she understood exactly what we wanted which made everything so easy! I can honestly say that even though we saw and approved of everything before it went to print, we were blown away by everything on the day and just how incredible it looked! Lucy designed both our wedding invitations and all our on-the-day stationery. Her flair for design, talent for illustrations and attention to detail are second to none, and we had so many comments on how beautiful our wedding stationery was.
For example, at very short notice, Lucy was able to pull together several bespoke illustrations of places around the world that my husband and I had been together (which were used as our table names), together with a custom-made IPA sign. Lucy was very patient in allowing us to explore different design ideas and took the time to produce copious numbers of mock-ups for us to consider before we agreed as a couple (and with Lucy's advice) on the final designs which went to print. She was also super easy to communicate with right from the beginning - putting me at ease from my very first call with her. Lucy is simply a joy to work with and I cannot recommend her highly enough. Our on-the-day stationery is so gorgeous we're going to frame and keep most of it!
